Matthew is the director and co-founder of Restore Communities which is an organization dedicated to individual, collective and social renewal locally and abroad. He is also one of the teaching pastors at Austin New Church. Matthew's latest endeavour is a work out of Restore Communities, called Restore Justice. Matthew is married to his best friend and favorite ministry partner, Sarah Hansen (currently a student at UT), and is dad to four of the most wonderful kids in the world: Serena (10), Asthon (7), Eden (5) and Elie (2). Even with these four children, they do not believe their family is complete, they are currently praying about the where, how, and when of adoption. Matthew is passionate about three major issues:

• Broken-Masculinity
• Gospel-oriented-Discipleship
• Justice informed by the Gospel
